Love Pinterest

What is Pinterest?

Think of Pinterest as a virtual pinboard — a place where you can create collections of things you love and "follow" collections created by people with great taste.
People use Pinterest to collect and share all sorts of things --  inspiration, DIY projects, at home decor, places love to visit, good books to read, You name it, people are pinning it.
We know you have great taste in something. Our mission is to make Pinterest the best place for you to share your taste with the world.
Following are photo's of what I pinned on my Pinterest boards check it out and feel free to repin any of my photo's on your own Pinterest...Go to my board for an INVITE!

Cute LaBelleMaison Plaque
A good idea for a bathroom
I have 8 boards and 134 pins, one of my  Board's is where I pin my favorite craft projects, either ones I tried or want to try. It's also a great way to remember what projects I want to try.

Cute crafts made solely from RicRac

Crafty card, tag, adornment for package.
You can have as many boards and pins you want, you can label them as you choose, you can repin from others boards, and you can choose to follow others, or follow their boards so when they add or update their boards you can see what they added.  It's a fun place, they even have a "pin it" addition that you can install on your browser bar and when you see something you want to pin you just click on the pin it icon. Please stop by and let me know what your Pinterest boards url is so I can check it out. ENJOY!

Cork craft projects

In April  Anthropologie had displays in their stores – all about corks! They teamed up with the Cork Forest Conservation Alliance (CFCA) to promote the use of natural corks. Did you know that corks are 100% natural, renewable, recyclable and biodegradable? Yes there is actually a Cork forest conservation alliance. When buying wine or champagne I never thought about whether the corks were natural or not. Unfortunately I didn't think to keep corks now I am sorry I didnt. I became obsessed with crafts made from corks.

Here is a cork bulletin board

Design Finch has some great cork craft ideas!
Cork stamps, Cork bulletin board, Cork wine glass charms, Cork monogram, Cork stamps.

Cork Trivet and coasters. LOVE, love love this!
The corks were sewn together.

Well there you have it! I was amazed at all the creative ways to use corks in crafts. And there are actually more ideas...  some of the projects were made using cut wine corks and hot glue and an exacto knife to cut through the corks, when making cork letters the letters should look backward so they will look right when stamped,
Please let us see your cork projects! Soon as we drink more wine we will display ours!

Coupon or Cash envelopes system

Coupons are gaining in popularity in a recent move by many families to live frugally and save money. The cash envelope system endorsed by DaveRamsey has been popular for many years now. What does this have to do with anything? A envelope tutorial and template that can be used in your wallet and carried with you for easy and fast retrieval of either coupons or cash. I know that since I'm not a "Extreme Couponer" but I do carry coupons this system would be perfect for me. I first saw this idea while on Pinterest and checked it out and to my delight found the tutorial was easy to follow.

THANK YOU Kelleigh Ratzlaff for this great template and tutorial!!

Envelopes made from pretty paper.

The Final product!

Beautiful use of Frames

Found creative uses for frames, other than for photos or art.  The following pictures will spark your own inner creativity. Some of the ideas are to add a vase, yes a vase in a frame, or what about a seashell collection placed in a frame?

Chalkboard in a frame

Christening dress in a frame

A Vase in a frame

What beautiful ways to display treasured items by placing them in a frame. Place an invitation hanging from a ribbon in a frame, or a alphabet, the frames will be the focal point of course so make certain you choose your prettiest most unique frame appropriate for the item displayed. A real unique idea is to take wallpaper that you like but don't want to use on the entire wall cut out a large piece place it a frame around it and there you have it. Would love to hear your ideas for using frames creatively!

Wallpapering the back of a cabinet hutch

BEFORE:
Cabinet wall plain a photo courtesy of http://maisondecor8.blogspot.com/

AFTER: wallpapered in beautiful rose pattern.

What a creative and beautiful idea, whether it's a new or old hutch this idea would make it unique! Talk about thinking outside the box, I would never have thought to wallpaper the back of a cabinet like this but what a wow look! Notice how it makes the glasses and dishes pop. so Romantic and beautiful!
Amy of MaisonDecor was kind enough to share a tutorial of how she accomplished this step-by-step.

My hutch cabinet is country so the wallpaper would not be the romantic kind as this one is, maybe fruits or something like this:
Yes, that would look pretty on the back of my country cabinet hutch.
What do you think?

Organizers from repurposed bottles, jars

Picture from Happyclippings.com

How adorable and cute is this? As one who loves to have spaces organized and finding organizer products that are affordable this idea or project is perfect!

We all have empty jars and bottles at one time or another and hate to just throw them out, well now we have a creative way to put those empty jars or bottles to good use. Think of all the ways you can use them to organize, in a home office, place pencils, pens, scissors or pretty flowers to brighten your desk.
In your kitchen, place kitchen utensils, or just flowers in them, what other ideas can you come up with for the kitchen? What about putting labels on them and store food bought in bulk and place in your pantry or refrigerator. Once I got to thinking about it the ideas kept coming.

How easy are they to make? All you need are,  scrap book paper, ribbon, string and buttons. All items you may already have in the house, and you will need Mod Podge. For a tutorial video on how to use Mod Podge:

You can group them together, or separate, match your decor by color or patterns, use fabric or paper.
Gather your materials and have fun with it. Would love to hear your comments how you will use them.

Found another idea for repurposing jars

Got this idea from ApumpkinandaPrincess, she  spray painted them Krylon Blue Ocean Breeze (2-3 coats) and she glued some twine on the top. How adorable and what a creative idea!
How about decoupage a jar?

This is unique for the beach cottage look!
This was a spaghetti jar repurposed creatively! Twine hot glued to the jar. Use it as a vase or a organizer, you can use it in the kitchen or even as a cute table centerpiece.

So many cute ideas, painted, twined, decoupaged, jars and bottles as organizers, centerpieces, room decor. Watch for part 2 of jars and bottles with holders.
