New feature embedded tweets

Twitter has a really cool new feature, embedded tweets, you can embed any tweet to your blog or website, just embed a html code to use.

All you do is copy/paste. Try it you will love it.

Want to embed a photo PcWorld explains:

Want to embed a photo with the tweet? One really cool feature is that any tweets with a photo will embed that photo within any text in the tweet, as in the example below. The catch: The tweet that you're embedding needs to have the picture uploaded topic.twitter.com in order to show up in an embedded tweet. Photos uploaded to any other service won't work. If you want to make your photo tweets easier to share in light of this, you may want to start uploading your pictures to Twitter's own service.

Bloom where you are planted

"Bloom where you are planted"  that really got my attention, we are about to move out of our home of 25 years and move into a condo.

Our home of 25 years we just sold!

Now we are about to be planted in a new place and we are looking forward to blooming anew again.

What does that mean?
Should you find yourself in a place not exactly where you planned or want to be at the moment,  whatever situation you presently find yourself in, I say "bloom where you’re planted" In other words, make the best out of the situation and be the best that you can be as you move on to greener pastures.

The Condo we are moving to.
We will "bloom where we are planted"!!

Embellished steering wheels frames from Etsy

Recently, while scouring Etsy for a gift to buy, I came across a few handmade, beautiful and unusual items.
Imagine giving a gift of a steering wheel cover handmade from vintage materials. Any woman would prefer that to the standard ones massed produced and made of vinyl. Right?

Buying a gift that shows you cared enough to choose something special rather than, for example just a frame, a frame is a good choice but add some elegant, creative flair to it such as this one my daughter created:

Elegant by shopmiabella

and you're telling the gift recipient I cared enough to choose a gift that says "you're special to me'! I rather support a creative crafter and give a special gift rather than giving an item that was mass produced.
Shop Etsy whenever you can, you will be amazed at the beautiful yet affordable gifts that will be appreciated and they will remember you every time they look at it.

(We just opened our Etsy shop and would like to invite you to a grand opening.)

Watch for a GIVEAWAY!!

What do I want my blog to be?

Question was/is "what do you want your blog to be when it grows up"?  Read on and I will answer that question. Would love your comments...

The purpose of this blog is......
#1, to share
To share inspiration, ideas, fun, crafts, I get inspiration from other's articles, how-to's, tutorials. and share them with you.

#2 to inspire
To inspire others to seek and find the ideas or products that will help to make one's life happier, more relaxed, more productive. Big goal? Why not?

#3 to create
To give not only you some creative ideas but to give me creative ideas with home decor, crafts, recipes etc.

I hope this blog when it "grows up" accomplishes all these lofty goals and in the meantime will bring you back again and again, but I also hope there will be a lot of interaction with you my friends, my followers, my readers by reading your comments. Feel free to comment away...
